Environment Canada has issued snow squall watches and warnings for parts of southwestern Ontario again Thursday.

A watch is in effect for London and eastern Middlesex, Oxford, Brant, Wellington, Huron and Perth County.

Meanwhile a snow squall warning remains in place for Grey and Bruce County.

A blowing snow advisory and special weather statements are also in effect for much of the region, with Environment Canada warning of flurries or snow with blowing snow.

Travel is expected to be hazardous due to poor visibility - which could suddenly drop to near zero - due to strong winds.

Motorists are advised to be prepared for rapidly changing driving conditions and to allow extra time to reach their destination.

It was the third day of weather-related closures for thousands of students in Grey and Bruce County, a rare occurrence in November.

The strong wind and snow is expected to continue into Thursday night.
