Western Fair District is planning a job fair to help fill between 300 and 350 temporary positions for the annual 10-day Western Fair.

The organization is beginning the process of interviewing and hiring temporary workers to help stage the Western Fair, being held Sept. 6-15. Those hired must be available to work all 10 days.

A one-day job fair is being held to fill a number of positions. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 31 in the Agriplex at Western Fair District, located at 845 Florence Street.

Organizers say the event provides a mix of free concerts, rides, food, animals and attractions. They are seeking people who like working outdoors in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Workers are needed in the areas of security (license required), ticket sellers, grounds and building cleaners.

Application forms will be available at the job fair or they found at westernfairdistrict.com, printed and brought to the job fair for the interview process.
