A 29-year-old Ingersoll woman is facing impaired driving charges after a single vehicle collision in Middlesex County.
Members of Middlesex OPP say the crash occurred on Monday, June 8, just east of Lucan on Mitchell Line.
Police arrived at the scene to find a grey Honda in a field on the west side of the road. According to police the car had been travelling northbound before leaving the road, striking a hydro pole, and rolling over several times into a field.
The driver of the Honda was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say breath tests revealed she had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.
Following an investigation, Rebecca Scott of Ingersoll has been charged with driving while impaired, and is scheduled to appear in a London court on August 6, 2015.
