London police say 68-year-old Richard (Paul) Wainwright has been found dead in the St. Clair River across from Walpole Island.
Police had put out a call for public assistance to locate the 68-year-old on Tuesday after family expressed concern for his welfare.
He was last seen at his London home that morning and his vehicle was located in Sombra, Ont. on Tuesday evening.
On Wednesday, police say the St. Clair County Sherriff's Department in Michigan found a deceased male off Harsen's Island.
Officials have identified the body as that of Wainwright and police say foul play is not suspected in relation to his death.
Police are thanking the public for their assistance in the matter.
