WALSH, Ont. - Provincial police are investigating a fatal collision in the Norfolk County community of Charlotteville, near Walsh.
They say the single-vehicle collision happened shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday.
Police say the driver failed to navigate a turn in the roadway, and the vehicle entered the ravine.
The 79-year-old female driver, identified as Francis Pye of Norfolk County, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police are not releasing the identity of the victim until the family has been notified.
