Provincial Police have identified the deceased in Monday's 402 collision as 34-year-old Johnathan James Wright of London.
The crash happened just after 3 p.m. Monday, involving two tractor trailers and two vehicles.
One person is dead and five others had to be taken to the hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes were closed just east of Colonel Talbot Road until roughly 10 p.m. Monday.
The westbound lanes were not affected and the eastbound lanes reopened overnight.
