A 56 year old Plympton-Wyoming man is facing several charges after a multi-vehicle crash on the 402.
Around 5 p.m. Sunday, Lambton OPP were called to the eastbound lanes of the 402 at Waterworks Road in Sarnia.
Police say a vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided into the back of another car.
This caused the second vehicle to leave the highway, rollover and come to rest on its roof in the water filled ditch.
That driver was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect vehicle then slammed into a third vehicle which sustained only minor damage.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene on foot but was later located in a field not far from the scene.
A 56 year old suspect has been charged with the following:
• Driving While Ability Impaired - Causing Bodily Harm
• Fail to Stop at Scene of Accident Involving Bodily Harm
• Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content – Cause Accident with Bodily Harm
• Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Cause Bodily Harm
• Drive Motor Vehicle - No Validation on Plate
• Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence
He has a court date June 6.
