Lambton OPP are looking into a serious crash that shut down the westbound 402 in Sarnia.
Just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the ditch near Christina Street.
The lone female driver of the vehicle suffered serious, life-threatening injuries as result of the collision.
She was transported to hospital by EMS and then air-lifted to another hospital.
The westbound 402 on ramp from Christina Street remains closed for the investigation.
