Woodstock police have charged a 19-year-old after a pickup was clocked at 124 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

Officers were conducting radar enforcement in the Dundas Street and Housers Lane area of Woodstock on Friday.

Shortly before 2 a.m., police say a Grey GMC pickup was observed westbound at a high rate of speed.

The driver was captured on radar at 124 km/h in a 60 zone.

As a result, the 19-year-old Barrie man was charged with racing, had his driver's licence suspended for seven days and his vehicle impounded.
