London police have released an image of a suspect sought in connection with racist graffiti found in the city's east end.

Investigators say two property damage incidents were reported on April 25th that both involved graffiti - one in an apartment laundry room on Connaught Avenue and the other on an exterior wall of a home on Harley Street.

According to police the two incidents are hate-motivated and directed at the black community. Both are believed to have been committed by the same suspect.

The male suspect is described as white, 20-30 years old, 5'10" tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans and running shoes, and was carrying a red shoulder bag and a black backpack.
