The social media campaign is again being recognized for its ability to bring a community together and promote the city of St. Thomas.
Every year the Economic Developers Council of Ontario issues awards for achievements in economic development and marketing in several categories.
Ten years ago the Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Marketing Excellence was introduced to honour the single most outstanding achievement made by an award recipient.
This year’s winner is the St. Thomas EDC.
#StThomasProud was launched last spring bringing residents to social media with the hashtag to post photos and videos of their community,
The St. Thomas EDC also won the award for use of Technology and New Media in Economic Development Marketing.
