A manhunt came up empty Tuesday evening after police searched a London neighbourhood for a suspect in a pharmacy robbery.
There was a heavy police presence in London’s Old North neighbourhood over supper hour Tuesday as police tried to track down the suspected robber.
According to officers a man entered the Rexall Pharmacy at Oxford and Waterloo Streets and demanded narcotics.
An undisclosed amount of narcotics was turned over to the man who then fled on foot. No one was injured in the incident.
The K-9 unit was called in as police set up a two block perimeter around the store.
The suspect has not been found and is described as Caucasian male, 20-25 years old, 5’11”, and 175 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, and a black baseball hat.
