A Grey Highlands man has been charged after a 49-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted outside a laundromat in Markdale on Sunday.

Grey County OPP were called to the scene of the incident at 17 Toronto Street South shortly before 7 p.m., but while en route an officer saw a man matching the suspect description.

  • resist peace officer
  • sexual assault
  • being intoxicated in a public place

He was held for a bail hearing and is next scheduled to appear in court on July 31st.
