Six-time Olympian Clara Hughes is in London on Wednesday as part of her 'Big Ride' across Canada raising awareness for mental health.
A welcome event is being held at 1:40 p.m. at the Canadian Tire at 1875 Hyde Park Road in northwest London.
On Wednesday evening, the London and District Distress Centre presents 'Let's Talk London' where Hughes will be the keynote speaker.
The goal of the event is to open the conversation and help remove the stigma associated with mental illness.
The event is being held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Western Fair District's Carousel Room.
Tickets are $40 and are available until noon on Wednesday.
