London police are warning of increased vandalism to cars in the Northdale area.
The main area of concern is along Fanshawe Park Road East and Adelaide Street North.
There have been eight reported incidents between Dec. 31 and Jan. 3.
Police say in all cases, glass was broken (primarily windshields) and side mirrors have been consistent targets as well.
Although the exterior of vehicles were the primary targets, London police are reminding the public to be vigilant, remove valuables from their vehicles and lock car doors.
Neighbours are asked to look out for one another and to report all suspicious activity by calling 519-661-5670 or 911.
London’s Crime Analysis Unit detected this pattern using analytical software purchased using a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
