London police say an urn found in an underground parking lot at 860 Commissioners Road East has been returned to its owner.
The urn was found in Oct. 2012 underneath a vehicle by a citizen who contacted police.
Investigators made efforts to locate the owner without success, and a request for public help was finally put out in early July.
Now, less than two weeks later, police say they have been contacted by a representative from Pond Mills Cemetery in relation to an urn that was stolen from the cemetery in 2012.
The urn has since been returned to its owner, a London resident. The urn contained the remains of his mother.
