A male driver was airlifted to hospital after a two-vehicle crash at Whalen Line and Highway 23 northeast of Lucan.
Middlesex County OPP, fire crews and EMS were called to the scene shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
Investigators say an SUV was eastbound on Whalen Line when it collided with a cargo van that was northbound on Highway 23.
The male driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital while an adult male passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital by land ambulance.
The driver of the cargo van, who was the only person in the vehicle, suffered minor injuries and was released at the scene.
Both vehicles have been towed from the scene but the investigation continues.
