London police have arrested Steven Antone, 22, of London in connection with the death of 29-year-old James Willits.
Willits was the city’s first homicide of the year. On March 2, police say he was assaulted in his apartment at 297 Baseline Rd. W. and later died from his injuries.
An investigation led police to charge Antone and Ronald Travis Chrisjohn with second degree murder.
Antone was also charged with robbery, however his whereabouts were unknown at the time and warrants were issued for his arrest. Chrisjohn was arrested on the day of the alleged assault.
Police tracked Antone to a residence on Arbour Glen Crescent in London and early Wednesday evening he was taken into custody.
A man and woman from the residence were also arrested. Curtis Pease, 33, and Cassandra McGall 21, both of London, have been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.
On March 27, police also charged a third man, Brandon Nichols, with robbery in connection to Willits' death.
Anyone with information on the incident or relating to person(s) who may have harbored or assisted Antone are asked to call London police at 519-661-5670.
