It was do or die for the London Knights against the Guelph Storm and the Knights didn't have the horses.
The Guelph Storm eliminated the host London Knights with a 7-2 win Wednesday in the final round-robin game of the 2014 MasterCard Memorial Cup.
The Ontario Hockey League champion Storm went undefeated in the round robin at 3-0 and will play in Sunday's championship game.
The Knights went 0-3.
The Val-d'Or Foreurs and Edmonton Oil Kings meet in Friday's semifinal with the winner meeting the Storm for this year's Cup.
The Knights lost their first two games of round-robin play, going down 5-2 to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Sunday and 1-0 to the Val-d'Or Foreurs on Friday.
The playoff round begins Thursday and the championship game is set for Sunday.
