A Hamilton man has been charged after allegedly flashing a machete at a restaurant in downtown Owen Sound.
Owen Sound Police say they were called to the restaurant (at 9th St. East and 2nd Ave. East) at about 2 a.m., Saturday after patrons said they felt threatened by a man with a machete.
Police say they located a 21-year-old man with the weapon outside of the restaurant.
They also allegedly located a large hunting knife on the suspect, and a small quantity of drugs.
Police say the unidentified suspect faces dangerous weapons charges and two counts of drug possession.
He is being held for a bail hearing.
