Lambton OPP is investigating a 'serious' two-vehicle collision that happened Saturday.

The crash happened on Lambton Line, east of Highway 40 around 6 p.m. Police say the collision involved a Chevrolet and Kia vehicle.

Fire crews were called in to extricate the driver of the Chevy, a 52-year-old Wallaceburg man, who was then taken to hospital. There were no passengers in his vehicle.

The 75-year-old male driver of the KIA and his three passengers, two men and a woman from Corunna all in their 60s, were also transported to hospital.

Police say some of the injuries are serious and the investigation into the collision continues.
