Middlesex County OPP have laid charges following a two-vehicle collision on Friday that left two people injured.
Police say around 1:40 p.m. on Friday, a Volkswagen Jetta travelling westbound on Medway Road crossed the centre line and collided with an eastbound Jeep.
The female driver of the Jetta had to be extricated from the vehicle and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The Jeep driver suffered minor injuries.
Both were transported to hospital for treatment. Fortunately, there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The collision briefly closed Medway Road from Adelaide Road to Highbury Avenue.
Alyssa Yandt, 20, of Hillsburgh, Ont. has been charged with careless driving in connection with the crash.
