Two snowmobiles stolen from farm in Wingham

Huron County OPP are investigating the theft of two snowmobiles from a farm on London Road, just north of Wingham.

Sometime through the night of Dec. 29 and into the morning of Dec. 30, two suspects entered onto the property and located two snowmobiles parked outside. 

They were able to by-pass the ignition and successfully start up the machines without the ignition keys.

Both sleds were then driven off the property through the fields heading west toward Glenannon Road. 

The stolen snowmobiles are described as:

A white 1997 Polaris XC 440cc, with a single seat valued at $1500.

A red 1997 Yamaha Vmax 700cc, with a single seat valued at $2500.
