It only took 22 minutes for tickets to The Tragically Hip's London concert to sell out Friday morning.

That's the official time from Budweiser Gardens, where the Hip will play on Aug. 8.

About 200 people waited in line at the venue - some since Wednesday - to try to get their hands on tickets for the Hip's final tour.

The tour comes on the heels of lead singer Gordon Downie's announcement that he has terminal brain cancer.

"It was worth the whole sleeping over," one man said Friday morning after snagging tickets. It was just a really nice time and I got eight tickets."

For others, disappointment. People expressed displeasure with the website and how quickly tickets sold out.

"It had to have been shorter then (sic) that (22 minutes) or maybe they can't handle that. Site was terrible," said Brenna Houston on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Twitter lit up with all kinds of re-sale ticket offers.

And there is still the possibility that more tickets will become available for the London show.

Budweiser Gardens told fans to check back in later.
