Text with 911 is a service offered to the DHHSI community that allows for the same access to the emergency 911 phone call system as the rest of the population.

The service allows the 911 voice call to be conducted by way of text messaging with a registered cellular phone.

If you are a member of the DHHSI community with a cellular phone and wish to have this service available to you, you are required to register your phone with your cellular service provider.
