A familiar organization is launching a new program.

Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Southwestern Ontario is asking for your used cars, RVs or even tractors.

It's a first for a Ronald McDonald house in Canada.

Michelle Kuhlmann scrapbooks to pass the time while her 16 year old daughter is in treatment for anorexia, 4 days a week.

She lives in Kingsville, a two hour drive from London.

"We'd be leaving at 4:30-5:00 in the morning to make sure we could get here without traffic. It's (RMH) a godsend," she says.

She is able to stay at RMH Soutwestern Ontario, just across the street from the hospital.

RMH has recently launched a new fundraising effort to help support people like Kuhlman.

The vehicle donation fundraiser started about six months ago.

Your used vehicle is auctioned off, with the proceeds going to RMH.

"We have so many seriously ill children that need to be away from home for treatment, and to have their families stay right next door makes all the difference in their care," says RMH spokesperson Jenne Wason

And the donation process is easy.

"It really is just a straightforward donate your car, and we take care of everything else for you," says Wason.

If interested, go online to www.rmhswo.ca and the vehicle will be towed away for you.

All you have to do is wait for your tax receipt in the mail.
