CLAC Local 303 members employed by Oxford Gardens Retirement Residence voted in favour of their first collective agreement.

Employees will receive a six per cent wage increase over the next three years.

“We are very excited to have our first collective agreement,” said bargaining committee member, Ashley Casey in a news release. “It’s been an interesting process and we look forward to the new improvements being put in place for our members.”

The agreement also includes the introduction of the CLAC Pension Plan, with contributions of up to two per cent by the end of the agreement, as well as improvements in scheduling language and sick time coverage.
