Many enjoy four-day holiday but not all

Many people in the workforce will be enjoying a four-day holiday this year, but some people will be working on Boxing Day, including most retailers.

Many places are closed on Christmas and Boxing Day, including beer stores and all LCBO outlets.

Also closed will be all London library branches, but they will be open on Saturday.

There is no mail delivery on Christmas and Boxing Day and garbage collection will resume in Zone B on Monday.

The city reminds residents that the container limit is not enforced in the first collection after Christmas for each zone.

And city hall administrative offices will be closed until January 2.

London Transit is operating on a special holiday schedule on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Route 2 Dundas and 13 Wellington will have extra buses on Boxing Day.
