A woman in her 70s has died in an apartment fire in Owen Sound Sunday morning.
Police say when firefighters arrived at a west end apartment building around 3 a.m. and encountered heavy smoke in the eighth floor of the building.
The fire was contained to a single apartment where police found a deceased female.
The Fire Marshal and Owen Sound police are investigating.
