London police have investigated seven break and enters to private residences following a similar pattern since June 20.
Police say common elements of the break-ins include window screens being cut and removed with the suspect targeting jewelry and cash once inside the residence.
The crimes have all occurred during daytime hours, between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Police are searching for a suspect who is described as being a female, white, approximately 20-30 years old with blonde hair in a ponytail, wearing a t-shirt and pants and carrying a backpack.
The Crime Analysis Unit of the London Police Service detected this pattern using analytical software purchased using a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.
