Middlesex County OPP officers are investigating the theft of a brand new motor home from the Great Escape RV dealership near Lucan, Ont.

Police say unknown suspects gained entry to the locked compound area at 24265 Richmond Street sometime last Tuesday or Wednesday between at 6 p.m. and 8:30 a.m.

The suspects allegedly removed a 2013 Winnebago 2201S, valued at $21,000.

Police say the suspects got into the facility with a stolen 2003 GMC Yukon SUV, which was later recovered by police. The stolen SUV pushed aside a second trailer blocking the entrance of the facility and removed the new Winnebago trailer.

Middlesex OPP found the SUV on Friday in the municipality of North Middlesex. It had been reported stolen to London police on March 13.
