St. Thomas police are currently on the lookout for two male suspects following armed robbery in the downtown area.
According to officers two men entered TTG Financial Solutions Incorporated on Talbot Street around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
One male was armed with a weapon and demanded cash from an employee. The suspect and employee became involved in a physical altercation as a result.
During the struggle the second male suspect stole an unspecified amount of cash and fled, followed by the first suspect.
Police say the victim was uninjured and two men fled toward the alley behind the business.
A search involving the K9 unit proved unsuccessful.
The first suspect is described as male, white, 5’9”, thin to medium build, light coloured pants and light coloured hoodie.
The second suspect is described as male white, 2. Male, 5’9”, medium build wearing all dark clothing.
