Middlesex County OPP have released the name of a woman who died following a two-vehicle collision north of London Tuesday afternoon.
Brenda Ellis, 58, from Oakville, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash took place at 4:19 p.m. on 13 Mile Road.
Police say a white BMW car travelling westbound collided with a white Ford pickup truck going southbound on Adelaide Road. Officers say 13 Mile Road does have stop signs.
Ellis was driving the BMW.
The lone occupant of the pickup, a 19-year-old man from London, was taken to hospital by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
Adelaide Road was closed between 14 Mile Road and 12 Mile Road and 13 Mile Road was closed between Richmond Street and Highbury Avenue for about six hours.
