The Middlesex-London Health Unit is reporting the second confirmed case of West Nile virus after a dead crow was found in Ailsa Craig.

The first confirmed came last week after a dead crow here in London at Oxford and Wonderland.

The health unit says Londoners can combat West Nile Virus by eliminating standing water found on properties.

To protect yourself from mosquito bites the health unit suggests wearing light coloured, long sleeved and pants for clothing, use an insect repellent with deet in it and regularly empty standing water.

If you suspect a bird has died because of the West Nile virus, the health unit asks you report it to them.
