Friends and family of a 34-year-old London man who drowned after falling from a cruise boat in Toronto last month are hoping to raise funds for a memorial.
Keith White -- who friends say was a trained lifeguard -- was on board the "Northern Spirit" with his girlfriend and another couple on June 13th when he fell into the waters of Lake Ontario.
His body was found July 1st in the Humber Bay area.
Friends say they have set up a fundraising website to help cover the costs for a funeral and memorial service to be held next month.
