Ontario’s Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure minister will be at the Toyota plant in Cambridge Friday and published reports say he will be handing out millions to the company.
Brad Duguid is expected to announce a grant and loan package for upgrades to the Woodstock and Cambridge plants, including a new metal stamping line at the Woodstock facility.
The reports say Toyota will be investing $421-million for the upgrades and expansion.
The federal government will be kicking in a portion as well.
