Huron County OPP have charged the driver involved in a crash east of Bluevale that killed 27-year-old Jordan Moorehead.
William Krotz, 55, of Gorrie, has been charged with failure to stop at the scene of an accident under the Criminal Code.
Moorehead died a day after being found injured along the side of Amberley Road around 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 22.
Investigators say Moorehead was walking west when he was struck by a westbound delivery truck, and the the driver failed to stop and failed to render asssistance to the injured pedestrian.
After a call for public assistance, the driver of the truck contacted police a few days after the collision.
Krotz is scheduled to appear at the Wingham courthouse on Nov. 20.
