A seven-year-old girl is dead following a collision on Monday afternoon northwest of London.
Middlesex County OPP say the girl was in a car that collided with a pickup truck at about 4:15 p.m. at a rural intersection (at Nairn Road and McEwen Drive).
The driver of the car in which the girl was a passenger remains in hospital in critical condition.
The OPP says all five people in the pickup truck suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the intersection was expected to remain closed until the early morning hours.
No names have been released. The OPP says charges are pending the completion of the investigation.
