Huron County OPP are investigating after a single-vehicle crash that left the driver with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews were called to Black's Point Road near Huron Road around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday for a collision.
Police say a Dodge Ram pickup was eastbound on Black’s Point Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve and the vehicle left the road and struck a hydro pole on the east side.
The driver, 31-year-old Corey Austin from Central Huron was transported to hospital in London with life-threatening injuries.
Black’s Point Road has been closed between Huron Road and Porter’s Hill Line as officers from the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation team investigate.
