Two teens have been arrested and charged after attempting to enter a medical marijuana operation in Bayham.
Elgin County OPP were called to the growing facility on Richmond Road, north of Calton Line, shortly after 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Investigators say an alert neighbour heard the sound of breaking class, saw two male youths outside the property beside a broken window and called police.
The youths fled the scene, but were later identified by police and arrested.
A 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, both from Malahide Township, have each been charged with break and enter and mischief under $5,000.
The youths have been released into their parents’ custody and are scheduled to appear in a St. Thomas court in December.
