Middlesex County OPP say a 52-year-old man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after an alleged assault by a youth.
Officers were called to a Main St. address for an aggravated assault after the fact on Saturday at about 6:15 a.m.
London-Middlesex paramedics tended to and transported the man to hospital.
A youth, whom cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault.
The youth was arrested without incident and is being held for a bail hearing in London Criminal Court.
Police say there is no threat to public safety.
The 52-year-old man’s status has since been updated to stable condition.
