Police in Strathroy are investigating after a vehicle reportedly slid into the front of a store on Caradoc Street South.

Officers were called to Gerber's Workwear at 323 Caradoc St. S. just before 4 p.m. Tuesday for a collision.

Investigators found a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old resident had driven into the front of the store.

Police say it appears the driver was driving too fast for the parking lot conditions, and the vehicle slid into the building.

Fortunately no one was injured.

However, police say the collision could have been worse and are reminding motorists to slow down in bad road conditions.
