Theresa Carriere has again run the 100 kilometres from Sarnia to London to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.

Her run began at 7 a.m. Friday at Sarnia Police headquarters and finished at John Paul II Secondary School in London around 7 p.m.

After successful runs in 2010, 2011 and 2014, Carriere successfully ran the distance in one day yet again, with a lot of support along the sidelines as she ran.

Members of the public also joined Carriere for a kilometre each throughout the day, including CTV London's own Jan Sims who joined Carriere at noon in the Watford area.

The last three campaigns raised approximately $580,000 for breast cancer patient care and research.

The campaign supports patient care in the London Region, with funds going directly to the London Regional Cancer Program’s Patient Assistance Program as well as the Breast Care Clinical Research and Tumor Biobank at Lawson Health Research Institute.

This year's goal is $200,000.
