The Owen Sound Police Service is asking for the public’s help after a quantity of prescription methadone became unaccounted for and was reported missing by a methadone patient. 

The concerned patient contacted the police to report that a 100 ml unit bottle of the liquid medicine was last seen over the weekend.

The methadone unit is a bottle about the size of a juice box and has a child-proof lid.  

Police say a small dose of this drug can be dangerous to children and it can also be dangerous to adults if a full dose is taken.
