Grey County OPP say 43-year-old Myles Brinton, of no fixed address, has been charged with second degree murder following a death in Meaford, Ont.
Police were called in to investigate around 1 p.m. on Wednesday and made the arrest after receiving information from an unknown source.
A post mortem is being conducted on the victim, whose identity is not being released until next of kin has been notified.
Brinton appeared in an Owen Sound court on Thursday morning and will remain in custody until his next court date on January 25th.
A publication ban has also been imposed in the case.
