A 47-year-old man from Mapleton Township has died after a tractor rollover early Monday morning.
Wellington County OPP officers were called at 5:15 a.m. to a single-vehicle crash on Side Road 19, one kilometre north of County Road 8 in Mapleton Township.
Police say Howard Brubacher, 22, was operating a Case International tractor northbound on Side Road 19 accompanied by his father, Orvie Brubacher, 47, when the tractor left the roadway and rolled over.
The passenger, Orvie Brubacher, was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver was uninjured, say police.
Wellington County OPP and Highway Safety Division officers are investigating the collision.
Side Rd. 19 between County 8 and the 12th Line of Mapleton Township was closed after the crash for the investigation.
