A 57-year-old man is in hospital after an ATV crash in Haldimand County.
OPP officers are investigating after the incident at Haldimand Road 70 near the Lynn Valley Road on Saturday at 5:45 p.m.
Mark Smith, of Haldimand County, was driving his 2009 Polaris ATV when it left the roadway and struck a tree stump. He was ejected and suffered life-threatening injuries as a result.
Emergency medical treatment was provided at scene by Haldimand County paramedics before he was transported to West Haldimand Hospital in Hagersville, Ont.
He was later transferred by air ambulance to a Hamilton Health Science Centre hospital for further treatment.
