London fire crews responded to a fire at a Goodwill location in the city's south end shortly before noon on Wednesday.

Emergency responders were called to White Oak Road just after 11 a.m. after a fire broke out at the large warehouse, retail and donation centre.

Smoke could be seen billowing from the back of the building.

Fire officials say it appears a portion of the roof was being repaired when sparks from a torch somehow got inside the building, igniting a number of boxes.

Staff could be seen waiting out in front of the property for some time as fire crews worked to contain the fire and then clear out the smoke.

No one was injured by the fire, but one employee was hurt during the evacuation and was placed on a stretcher then inside an ambulance to recover.

No estimate of damage has been released at this time.
