A section the Highway 401 near Thames Centre is closed, while OPP investigate a transport truck crash.
Provincial police was called the eastbound lanes of the highway, near Westchester Bourne, around 4:40 a.m. for a two-vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer. One driver has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Cleanup is now underway to clear debris and fluids that spilled onto the roadway during the crash. Two lanes of the highway will remain closed during this process.
Charges are pending, as the investigation continues.
