No one was hurt after a transport truck had a pair of its tires fly off.
The incident happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning in the eastbound lanes of the 401 near Putnam Road.
The garbage hauler lost two wheels from the passenger side of its trailer.
One wheel crossed three lanes of the highway and stopped in the median.
The other wheel travelled roughly 60 meters and came to rest on the south side of the highway.
The Ministry of Transportation is investigating.
